37 years ago ...!

When my niece turned one, I sent her a present of a little book and a simple rag doll, both of which I made for her. In the story, she falls asleep and the doll leads her through a snowy dream . She rides in a sled pulled by a fox and sits on the back of a big polar bear. I had completely forgotten all about this little homemade book - until my niece sent photos to remind me. The similarities to some of the images in "Willa and the Bear" are surprising! Goes to show - ideas can float around for a long time!
