Rusty skills

I’ve been so intent on learning how to create digital illustration that it’s been more than two years since I put paint on paper with a brush -!!! I’m shocked to realize that, and recently I have missed it palpably. This afternoon, I grabbed a scrap of (turns out cruddy) paper and started messing around with some new gouache paints I bought recently. So out of practice - but I did get something started. I need to take a break and finish this tomorrow. I’ll post the final illustration.
